The International Certified Floorcovering Installers Association (CFI) will hold its 16th Convention August 20-22 at the Kansas City Airport Expo Convention Center in Kansas City, MO.

The WFCA-sponsored Leadership Summit kicks off the convention on Thursday afternoon at 4:30, followed by dinner for the attendees. Friday and Saturday will feature a variety of educational seminars to enhance installation techniques, business and presentation skills. There will also be hands-on installation workshops on installing various types of flooring, best business practices, the commercial installation marketplace, patent application, finished concrete flooring and the consequences of moisture and alkalinity.

“CFI is celebrating 16 years of building industry partnerships and the presence of the CFI name throughout the world,” said CFI Executive Director Jon Namba. “CFI has grown from a grass roots organization to one that is immediately recognizable worldwide. The annual CFI Convention is an opportunity to gain new information, meet new friends and discuss new products with the CFI associate members.”
