The Tile Council of America’s (TCA) Handbook Committee is asking the industry to submit recommended changes and new tile installation guidelines for consideration in the 2005-2006 edition of the Tile Council’s Handbook for Ceramic Tile Installation.

Edits to the existing handbook should include a page marked with the requested change and any documentation to support the edit request. Any new details for submission should be submitted in a form that is ready to be inserted into the Handbook. New details must include a drawing and sections on “recommended uses”; “limitations”; “requirements”; “materials”; “preparation by other trades”; “movement joints”; and “installation specifications.” Please compare to existing details to make sure all necessary fields are listed. All testing and supporting documentation should be included.

Documentation can be sent to the Tile Council, Attn.: Handbook Submissions, 100 Clemson Research Blvd., Anderson, SC 29625. Submissions must be received by May 14, 2004.
