Denver-based U.S. Mix Co. has expanded its agreement with Sakrete in the Western U.S. The company will now produce and promote Sakrete products in Colorado as well as parts of Wyoming, South Dakota and Nebraska. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

“We are very pleased to expand our relationship with U.S. Mix,” said Johnsie Beck, president of Sakrete of North America.  “Sakrete is focused on developing new tools, products and innovative programs that enhance our licensees’ efforts to build and promote our brand. U.S. Mix brings new ideas and opportunities that will enhance these efforts as well as expand our product line to customers in the western United States.”

John McHugh, president of U.S. Mix Co. said the new agreement would strengthen the reach of Sakrete in his region. “Sakrete is utilizing the creativity and energy of its licensees to build on the strong name of Sakrete as well as bring product innovation to the marketplace. We are seeking to bring this energy and innovation to Rocky Mountain customers,” he said.

U.S Mix Co. has been a Sakrete licensee since 1968. The company said it would expand its production to include the full line of Sakrete products at its Denver facility.  The company also operates a plant in Fontana, Calif.
