The International Certified Floorcovering Installers Association (CFI) has introduced a new series of instructional DVDs especially for installers. The “Craft of Carpeting” DVD series provides step-by-step training for individual installers, workrooms or dealers who are new to the trade, and can also be used to enhance installation skills.  The first series focuses on carpet with DVD #1 released in October, “Tufted Printed Patterned Carpet Residential Installation.” 

The DVD can be purchased separately for $29.95 or with the detailed instruction guide and test for $29.95.  The set is available for $52.95 that provides an excellent in-house training program.  Several carpet DVD’s will be offered monthly until mid 2009, when the hard surface DVD’s are produced.  This is the first series available to the industry, presented by recognized industry trainers, using the proven methods of installation.   The series will also offer DVD’s for the customer to prepare them for the flooring installation.
