Eugenio Megna

Chicago-based Trans Ceramica, a GranitiFiandre Company, has selected Eugenio Megna to manage their Chicago sales team as they initiate a renewed retail business development plan for the midwest.

“We are fortunate to have Megna with his successful distribution and retail experience join our company during a time of renewed focus on our midwest retail business development,” said Jeanne Nichols, vice president—sales and marketing for GranitiFiandre in the U.S. “We believe the interest and demand for our innovative, sustainable products throughout the midwest has been largely untapped and the timing is right for this initiative.”

As Chicago sales manager, Megna will manage the existing Chicago sales team, consisting of three territory managers, and will spearhead the company’s dealer programs throughout the Midwest.

Megna brings significant experience to his new position having previously worked for four years as the branch manager for Chicago-based Richetti Group, where his primary focus was distribution and retail development.

GranitiFiandre is experiencing sustained growth and increased market share in the U.S., especially within the commercial market segment where many projects are already funded and in the works for the remainder of 2008 and into 2009.
