The David Allen Company MS Gold Tournament will be held on Friday, June 12, at the Heritage Hunt Golf and Country Club in Gainesville, Va. Spearheaded by Phil and Kathy Holcomb, partnered with the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, the 15th annual charity event unites golfers for a day of fun, fundraising and awareness about MS. Registration is $300 per person and will begin at 10 a.m. Additional sponsorship opportunities are available.

The David Allen Company, one of America’s top flooring contractors, is currently recruiting participants and sponsors, as well as looking for raffle prize donations. Participants will enjoy a complete program of special events, including 18 holes of golf, lunch, and raffle prizes at the awards banquet after golf.

Twenty years ago, Kathy Halcomb was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, an unpredictable neurological disease that interrupts the flow of information from the brain to the body. The symptoms of MS can be varied and often unpredictable, ranging from numbness and imbalance to paralysis and blindness. There is no cure for MS.

In the first year, the David Allen Company MS Golf Tournament raised $800, but last year netted an all-time high of $80,000, that was donated to the National Capital Chapter to support local programs and services for people affected by the disease.
