Cikel America has signed a distribution agreement with the Ellis Flooring Sales Co. With over 50 years of experience, Ellis Flooring will offer Cikel’s sustainably harvested exotic hardwood flooring products throughout the Carolinas, Eastern Tennessee and Virginia from locations in Charlotte, Greensboro and Raleigh, N.C., as well as Columbia and Greenville, S.C.

“Cikel has done a great job marketing their FSC certifications in a lot of the industry periodicals,” said Breck Berkey, from Ellis Flooring in Charlotte. He said the two companies spoke at Surfaces, and Ellis decided “to take on their line because we didn’t have a solid offering and we didn’t have an exotic line. It was an opportunity to get into two different markets with one line.”
