Chicago FCA announces events for the rest of 2010

The Chicago Floorcovering Association is gearing up for a
range of educational seminars and networking meetings for the remainder of the
year, including a seminar on the new EPA lead guidelines that will go into
effect in October, and a presentation by Terry Wheat, president of RFMS.
The seminar
"EPA Lead Guidelines and Your Business" on Tuesday, Sept. 14, will
cover how the new regulation applies to members and their businesses, and how
to comply. It will be held at Wellington Restaurant in Arlington Heights, Ill.
Additionally, the CFA will host its State of the Industry dinner meeting on
Wednesday, Oct. 20, with the topic "How to Survive in Times that are Not
the Best." Terry Wheat, president of RFMS, is scheduled to speak. The
event will be held at The Carlisle Banquets in Downers Grove, Ill.

Friday, Aug. 13, the CFA will hold its 2nd Annual Candlelight Bowl at
Willowbrook Bowl in Willowbrook,
Ill. On Thursday, Aug. 26, the
CFA will host its annual Fall Golf Outing at Deerfield Golf Club.
The CFA is
inviting members to come with their families to the Kane County Cougars Picnic
and baseball game, Friday, Sept. 3.
In
December, the CFA will hold two events at The Wellington of Arlington Banquets
in Arlington Heights. The Children's Christmas
& Hanukkah Party is set for Saturday, Dec. 4. The following Saturday, on
Dec. 11, the CFA will hold its Presidential Awards Dinner Dance.
