Corrective Flooring Procedures Workshop is the first “hands-on” course of this type presented for the industry, according to the International Certified Floorcovering Installers Association (CFI). The workshop covers corrective measures for carpet, laminate, ceramic, hardwood and resilient flooring surfaces.

Jon Namba, CFI’s executive director, leads the 2-1/2 day hands-on courses specifically designed for those directly responsible for customer service calls, for cleaners who correct problems during their cleaning procedures, and for inspectors who do follow-up work related to problems associated with the inspection of the flooring.

The cost of $1,200 includes workbooks, instructional guides, manufacturer-related technical information, lunch, and reference materials for future use. The advanced course, which requires successful completion of the initial workshop, is scheduled for April 2008.

Due to the skills involvement in the course, registration is limited. Application forms are available online at www.CFIinstallers.com, or by contacting the CFI at (816) 231.4646.
