Attendees at the recent MAPEI installation seminar at Hardwood Floors & More ( L to R) Marcos Perez, Lee Tindall, David Bailey, Jennifer Herron, James Kelligan, Ray Lilly, Sandy Lugo, Raul Santiago (back), Jose Pagarra, Vianey Alonzo, Alberto Pineda, Greg Gerber, Phillip Pervis, Regino Pineda, Sergio Llerandez.

Hardwood Floors & More, a flooring retail store located in Evans, Ga., recently hosted an installation seminar conducted by MAPEI. Lee Tindall, MAPEI sales representative for Ga., S.C. and N.C., gave a hands-on demonstration of three of the company’s newest installation products: Mapelastic HPC, a flexible waterproofing and crack isolation membrane; Opticolor epoxy grout; and Aquadefense, a new waterproofing and crack isolation membrane. The event was well received by the installers who attended.

“There was a good turnout from the local installers,” said Suzzane Lilly, co-owner of Hardwood Floors and More. “It was an excellent seminar, and we got great feedback,” Lilly added.

“I learned lots about epoxy and waterproofing materials,” said James Kelligan, an installer for Hardwood Floors & More. “There were great explanations from the rep, who made it simple, even for the first-time user.”

“It’s exciting to see professionals who care enough to invest time in learning more about their industry,” said Lee Tindall. “The fact that these guys came out on their own time shows their level of dedication.”
