New from Schluter-Systems is a prefabricated 72” x 72” sloped shower tray, KERDI-Shower-ST. Developed to meet the increased demands of today’s larger showers, the tray eliminates the need to build a sloped mortar bed when constructing a tiled shower, the company says.

The tray, which measures 1-1/2” thick at the perimeter, comes in four interlocking pieces, and can be cut to size. Also available are the 48” x 48” and 32” x 60” shower trays with center drain placement, and a 32” x 60” tray with an off-center drain. All four sizes are available in Schluter’s KERD-Shower-Kit.
