Custom Building Products recently debuted EasyBoard Ultra Light Backerboard which, as its name implies, is an ultra-lightweight backerboard.

Each 1/2-inch sheet consists of a thin, lightweight synthetic core, mesh reinforcement and a cementious slurry coating. According to the company, EasyBoard can be used under any tile or natural stone products for wall, ceiling, countertop, and vanity applications, The product is backed by a 10-year labor and materials warranty.
