LATICRETE was a sponsor of Dal-Tile Atlanta’s charity golf event at the Bear’s Best Golf Course in Suwanee, Ga. on May 15, to benefit Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. At the 2009 annual event, more than 150 tile and stone industry professionals gathered at Bear’s Best Atlanta and raised more than $8,000 to benefit pediatric care at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.

LATICRETE director of sales Ron Nash was joined by National Accounts Manager James Owens, regional sales manager from North Carolina, Rob Smith, and technical sales rep for Atlanta, Adam Marks. On the golf course, Smith and Owens played in a foursome with Joe Pierce and Bud Upton from Tiede-Zoeller, a long-time member of the LATICRETE MVP (Most Valued Partner) program.

“Dal-Tile has been a great customer with LATICRETE for many years,” said Owens. “We certainly wanted to stand behind their efforts to support a worthy cause such as the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. In addition to showing our support for Daltile and their customers that participated in a great day on the course, we also feel it was a nice opportunity for LATICRETE to get even more involved in the local Atlanta community. It was a terrific, sunny day for golf, and a good time was had by all.”
