Lignomat Moisture Meters for All Applications
Performance, quality, user friendly design and competitive prices have given Lignomat a good reputation among the industry. Anyone needing a versatile, accurate meter will appreciate the multi-function Ligno-VersaTec and its absolute reliability for many years of usage.
With the Ligno-VersaTec, you can select the right measuring mode and the right accessories for the job on hand. This could be tracking moisture problems with the pin electrode or measuring humidity in a crawl space with the precision RH Bluepeg Probe. Floor inspectors could be checking a cupped floor using the pinless mode. Including sleeves and RH cable allows in-situ probe testing.
Accurate when necessary. The Ligno-VersaTec can be used for rough estimates of high or low moisture levels, but the meter also can provide precise measurements in pin, pinless and RH mode:
One meter for all your needs. Pin and pinless side by side:Areas of high and low moisture levels can be easily identified in pinless mode. The selectable measuring depth 1/4” and 3/4” allows comparing moisture close to the surface and deeper down. Once a problem area is detected, the pin mode with slide hammer electrode allows pin pointing the problem.

Introducing Perfectly Warm Radiant Heat Film for Floating Floors
MP Global Products’ new Perfectly Warm Radiant Heat Film for under wood or tile floating floors installs easily over a subfloor or acoustic underlayment. Designed to provide gentle supplemental heat, the lightweight line voltage system disperses gradual evenly consistent supplemental warmth from low wattage resistance heating of ultra-thin, flexible radiant heat film. It uses just 12 watts per square foot and conforms to warranty requirements of many floating floors, the company said.
Featuring an ultra-thin wireless filament configuration (.016” thick), Perfectly Warm Radiant Heat Film installs easily without any mortar or glue. Simply roll out each panel and cut it to length. Each panel has wires pre-attached at one end for ease of installation. Direct all lead wires toward one central electrical box, with final connection by a licensed electrician to the electronic programmable thermostat. Perfectly Warm is available in four rollout pad sizes (3’ x5’, 3’ x 10’, 1.5’ x 5’ and 1.5’ x 10’) that will accommodate most any layout.

Faster, Thinner Floor Warming Installation:
DITRA-HEAT Provides Floor Warming and Uncoupling in Single Layer
Floor warming systems have recently become very popular as a way to make tiled floors even more desirable. The frequent fluctuations in floor temperature create greater stress on the floor assembly and increase the need for an effective uncoupling system. DITRA-HEAT is the first electric floor warming system that directly incorporates essential uncoupling technology into a floor warming system to provide heated floors that are not susceptible to cracking, the company said.
The heating cables are easily snapped into place on top of the uncoupling mat with no clips or fasteners. The installer has complete flexibility on where the cables are placed so every installation is customized to suit the exact requirements of the room. There is no need to use self-levelers during installation, the company added. Once the cables are in place the floor is ready for tiling. The end result is a faster, flatter, thinner installation. The system is available in 120 V and 240 V versions with a programmable or non-programmable digital thermostat.
The Rapid RH 4.0EX from Wagner Meters combines their patented Smart Sensor and innovative Easy Reader with Touch-n-Sense technology for fast, easy-to-use, and fully ASTM-compliant RH testing. With Touch-n-Sense technology, the Easy Reader “comes to life” on contact with the Smart Sensor – turning on, taking a reading, and holding the data display for 5 minutes before powering off. And as always, subsequent readings can be taken at any time with IMMEDIATE results.
The Rapid RH 4.0EX Smart Sensor, with CMOS Sens technology, equilibrates faster - and it stays equilibrated because the sensor never leaves the concrete, the company noted. Plus, each Smart Sensor comes with a NIST-traceable certificate of calibration, making data records and ASTM calibration compliance faster and easier.
The Rapid RH 4.0EX provides IMMEDIATE savings, the company said, noting that “at pennies per square foot, no re-calibration or re-certification issues, and the most rapid readings available, the Wagner Rapid RH 4.0EX saves you time and money.”
