Leica Geosystems unveils its Leica DISTO Special 5 Leica Geosystems has unveiled its Leica DISTO Special 5 laser-distance measuring device. This special model, limited to 1,600 pieces, bears a brilliant Leica red color. The device can measure from 0.7 to 650 feet to within 1/16th of an inch, according to Leica.
