Andre Southworth, 44, vice president of the International Certified Floorcovering Installers Association, was killed in an automobile accident Feb. 6 in Ogden, Utah.

A past winner of the prestigious Charlie Gress Award for outstanding service and unselfish contribution in promoting quality floorcovering installation, Southworth was the winner of the 2000 WFCA National Installation Contest, Southwest regional, carpet division.
