NOFMA to develop certification, training program for inspectors
March 19, 2001
The National Oak Flooring Manufacturers Association has endorsed plans to develop a program to train and certify hardwood-flooring inspectors. The move makes NOFMA the first organization in the flooring industry to address the growing need for third-party inspectors to evaluate hardwood-flooring conditions, particularly as they relate to disputes, the association says.
Program implementation is scheduled for late 2001 or early 2002.
