The Connecticut Floor Covering Association held its "Awards Night 2000" on Jan. 10, recognizing excellence in floor covering design, installation, and service.

On Jan. 10, 2001, the Connecticut Floor Covering Association held is "Awards Night 2000" ceremony, recognizing excellence in floor covering design, installation, and service.

CFCA President Tim Sullivan and event Co-Chairs Dana Brochu and E.J. Noel shared the podium in presenting the awards.

Steve Dalene, owner of Dalene Floor Covering, was designated CFCA Man of the Year for 2000.

Carpet Design/Installation in a residential setting went to Custom Floors in Rocky Hill, Conn., while the commercial winner was Commercial Flooring Concepts of Windsor.

Residential Resilient Design/Installation was awarded to Bristol's R.T.W. Wall and Floor Covering. The Wood Design/Installation award was presented to Lyons Flooring.

Barall&Konover walked with Commercial Ceramic Design/Installation honors, while Hebron Signature Floor Covering took the residential design award.

And Jim Jewell of Shaw Industries/Philadelphia Carpet was presented with an award for Excellence in Service by a Mill Representative.
