The Ceramic Tile Education Foundation has opened its new 6,500-square-foot training center to help meet the growing demand for hands-on installation training.

The Ceramic Tile Education Foundation (CTEF) has opened its new, 6,500-square-foot training center in Anderson, SC, in an effort to meet the growing demand for hands-on installation and ceramic-related courses.

"For the past four years, professionals have attended CTEF courses because of the caliber of instructors, the extensive curriculum and hands-on training, and their ability to immediately benefit from this short, yet extensive, training program," said Robert Daniels, chairman of the CTEF Board of Directors.

The new center is dedicated solely to training installers, with permanent areas emulating real-world construction, such as shower stalls, countertops, bathrooms with bathtubs, even fountains and swimming pools, according the CTEF Executive Director Dave Gobis.

The CTEF's warehouse inventory equals that of a full-line distributor, providing students with the option to work with a wide variety of products in various situations.
