March 19, 2002
Driflor, a system designed to reduce the chill created by cold concrete floors, was recently launched at Surfaces 2002. According to the company, Driflor is ideal for basements or rooms built over concrete slabs and can be used under virtually any finished floor covering. The system features a surface made from oriented strand board (OSB) and an underside with polyethylene plastic 5/16-inch dimples. Driflor is available in 2-by-2-foot tongue-and-groove panels that are 7/8-inches in height.
