Schluter Systems has released Bekotec, a modular screed system designed to reduce internal stresses on flooring. The Bekotec system incorporates a studded polystyrene screed panel that provides heat and sound insulation. The studs are designed to hold radiant heating tubes without fasteners.
According to the company, the system is ideal for hotels, office buildings and shopping centers.
