The NWFA met with several senators and lawmakers during the event to discuss issues related to mold, estate tax repeal, healthcare costs, association health insurance plans, and legal liability reform, according to the association.
"The goal for this Legislative Day was to present the NWFA as a reliable, unbiased resource for information pertaining to the wood industry as a whole," said NWFA President Wayne Cotton.
The NWFA celebrates its 20th anniversary this year, and held its most recent convention in Hawaii as part of the celebration.
