The Floor Covering Installation Contactors Association (FCICA) is gearing up for its mid-year meeting with the theme "Education: Setting a Course of Success." The Sept. 29-30 event at the Royal Sonesta Hotel in Boston will include two educational sessions, a networking dinner, a committee meeting and a Board of Directors meeting.
Educational events are slated for the first day of the show. "The Success Triangle," presented by Wally Adamchik of the consulting firm FireStarter, will aim to explain the essential differences between leadership and management. Following that presentation, FCI columnist Christopher Capobianco and Tom Rochenski of GE Sensing will offer their "Concrete Moisture Testing Update."
