A new licensing agreement between Canadian-based hardwood
flooring manufacturer Preverco, and Sweden-based Valinge Innovation have
entered into a new licensing agreement that allows Preverco to launch a new
line of glueless flooring using Valinge’s patented locking system technology.
As a result, Preverco becomes the
first Quebec-based company to offer customers a locking system option for
genuine hardwood flooring, the company says.
Both companies are working together to incorporate floorboards
of varying widths into the new line. Using customized equipment designed by
Swedish experts, Preverco will have the capability to modify the locking strip
size to fit widths ranging from the standard 3-1/4-inch planks to the wider
7-inch planks.
