Tarkett has elevated Guillaume Clement to vp marketing and sales, residential North America. In this position, he will develop sales and marketing for North American wood, resilient and laminate segments A nine-year veteran of the company, Clement was most recently residential division controller.
Laticrete International founder and chairman emeritus, Dr. Henry M. Rothberg will be inducted into the Ceramic Tile Distributors Association Hall of Fame on Nov. 9. Rothberg is credited with developing thin-set mortars for ceramic tile and stone, a product that revolutionized the industry. Rick Church, CTDA exec director, noted that Rothberg has also shown "commitment to the education and advancement of the industry."
Bonsal American has made several personnel announcements. Dennis Bowman has been named director of engineering. He will be responsible for capital projects, planning and management of engineering activities for all of the company's production facilities. Bowman has more than 25 years of experience in facilities planning, strategic planning and engineering.
Additionally, Ken Walden has joined the company as area sales manager. He will be responsible for developing sales campaigns, forecasts and budgets for the Carolinas, the Virginias, Delaware and Maryland.
Finally, Tomas Hernandez has been promoted to Bonsal area sales manager for southern Florida. He joined the company six years ago, and was most recently a sales manager for Sakrete branded products.
John Fairbanks has joined BonaKemi USA as Southeast regional contractor manager. Based in Ormond Beach, Fla., Fairbanks will work with contractors and distributors to help train personnel in Florida, southern Georgia and southern Alabama. Fairbanks has 14 years experience in the hardwood industry including jobs in contracting, retail, distribution, and most recently, as a business owner.
