Pergo, CCA part ways

In a news item that ran in the July/August issueFCImagazine, Pergo had announced a change in its existing relationship with flooring retail cooperative CCA Global Partners.

Recently, CCA requested that Pergo clarify a statement within the release made by Mark Nagele, Pergo’s director of business development in which Nagele was quoted as saying “...Pergo’s distributors have been understanding and supportive of our decision.”

CCA felt this quote was misleading and misinterpreted as Pergo independently decided to leave the CCA program. CCA made their decision to end the contract with Pergo independently and recently informed Pergo of this decision.

The company does not recommend any of its solid wood flooring products to be installed over radiant heat systems, only some of their engineered hardwood products.
