The second CFI Corrective Flooring Procedures Workshop is scheduled for October 8-10th in Salt Lake City, Utah. The workshop covers corrective procedures for carpet, laminate, ceramic, hardwood and resilient flooring surfaces. It is specifically designed for dealers, installers, manufacturers, cleaners, inspectors and others in the industry who are responsible for the correction of problems that surface during or after the installation.

techniques; LAMINATE plank replacement, both glue and click and the hot-melt
corrective system; CERAMIC / STONE includes individual tile replacement, grout
rework and hot-melt corrective system; the HARD-WOOD training includes
pre-finished board replacement of glue-down and nail-down, touch-up using stains
and finishes and the hot-melt corrective system and included in the RESILIENT
section are corrective techniques for tears, burns and gouges.

procedures are unique to the industry.
During the “hands-on” skills sessions, the attendees learn by correcting
problems and understanding the requirements of the techniques. The course provides an opportunity to learn
the latest corrective procedures and technical information in classroom and
course is unlike any in the industry,” said Jon Namba, CFI
Executive Director, who is known as a skilled craftsman in all flooring
surfaces. “The attendees must arrive prepared to work and absorb an abundance
of information that will enhance their skills and prepare them to become more
involved with difficult situations that may arise in their companies.”
