The North American Association of Floor Covering Distributors (NAFCD) recently announced its 2009 Officers and Board at its 37th Annual Meeting held at the Renaissance Schaumburg Hotel in Schaumburg (Chicago), IL. NAFCD also presented Scott Roy with the Leadership in Action Award. Scott Roy is the Vice President of Sales at JJ Haines & Company, Inc. in Glen Burnie, MD. Scott Roy of JJ Haines & Company was selected as the 2008 Leadership in Action recipient. The award recognizes those intuitive individuals who bring positive ideas, contributions and change to the flooring industry. It also recognizes the role their respective companies play in supporting these innovators. 

“Scott reinvented JJ Haines Flooring Plus Customer program to become the JJ Haines Loyalty Program,” said Bob Wagner, Membership Chair of NAFCD. “He worked with suppliers to enhance and improve the program and received buy-in and acceptance from other distributors that are part of the Flooring Plus Group  (Belknap White, OVF, BR Funsten). Scott is an ideal first recipient of this honor.”
