Bona US has
hired Rob Johnson as regional sport manager for the Midwest
region. Johnson will play a critical role in maintaining existing partnerships
and increasing new business in the professional sports arena. Working closely
with industry professionals and key departments at Bona, Johnson will be
responsible for training, inventory, operating procedures and relationship
management.
Johnson
began his career as the owner of a full-service wood contracting company. Soon
after, Johnson served as the designer and manager of Hoboken Floors Pro Shop in
New York.
Prior to joining Bona, Johnson was with Basic Coatings, where he started as the
northeast regional manager and was soon promoted to the facilitator of the
Basic Training program.
“Rob
brings 34 years of wood flooring and management experience to Bona. He will
greatly benefit the sales team and further our growth in the sports sector,”
said Tom McNeil, director of distribution sales of Bona US.
