LG Hausys FLOORS, the resilient floor covering division of LG Hausys America, Inc., has appointed industry veteran Jim Hall as the Western U.S. regional sales manager for its newly developed line of resilient flooring targeted for the residential contract marketplace. Based in Phoenix, Arizona, Hall comes to LG Hausys FLOORS after 23 years in a similar capacity with Mannington Mills. In his new position, Hall will work to establish relationships and build distribution partnerships for LG Hausys FLOORS residential contract business in the Western states.

LG Hausys FLOORS has been manufacturing resilient tile and sheet flooring products for the U.S. commercial market for over a decade, and recently made the strategic decision to enter the residential contract sector. Dave Thoresen, executive vice president of LG Hausys FLOORS, brought Curt Robinson on-board to lead the new residential business as vice president. Hall will now report to Robinson and use his years of experience and industry contacts to jumpstart the new launch on the West Coast.

“I have known Curt and Dave for years,” said Hall. “They approached me about the position and it was really a no-brainer. The opportunities at LG Hausys FLOORS are tremendous. It’s a whole new division, so I’ll be establishing relationships and working to set-up distribution and get the products moving.”
