The NWFA Certified Professionals will host two Wood Flooring
Inspection Schools during 2010. The
dates and locations of the schools are as follows:
May 17 – 20; City
of Industry, CA
September 27 – 30; St.
Louis, MO
The
four-day school provides specialized training on conducting wood flooring
inspections. The curriculum was
developed to help wood flooring professionals obtain the knowledge to become
competent in five key areas, including substrates; maintenance; identifying
problems, causes and cures; installation, sand and finish methods; and report
information gathering and writing. The
cost to attend the school is $1,495 for NWFA members. Nonmembers can attend for $1,700.
This school
provides much of the knowledge necessary to take the Certified Inspector test
offered by NWFACP. The test is required
to become an NWFACP Certified Inspector.
The test will be offered for an additional fee on the day following the
school. The test fee for NWFA members is
$250. Nonmembers can take the test for
$350. The test dates and locations are
