Mullican Flooring has unveiled an interactive, consumer-driven website as part of its 25th anniversary celebration in 2010. The company’s redesigned site, www., features improved maneuverability for locating Mullican products and also provides valuable consumer education about hardwood floors. Site visitors can select products based on color, flooring type, species or by browsing Mullican’s 23 collections of hardwood flooring.  

“We wanted to build a consumer-driven website that would be an easy-to-understand guide in terms of choosing floors as part of a decorating scheme or concept,” explains Brian Greenwell, Mullican’s vice president of sales and marketing. “The site will be an excellent resource for sales personnel at our various partner dealerships who need to order flooring samples or for anyone who wants to learn more about Mullican products.”

The site’s Designer’s Oasis section offers tips for designing a room and selecting a color scheme, and consumers can determine their design style via an online questionnaire.

Additional features on the site include installer instructions for Mullican’s floor types, frequently asked questions and a floor care guide. Visitors also can learn about Mullican’s historic growth in the hardwood flooring industry, and the Green Zone section details the company’s pioneering efforts in forest sustainability.
