The Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification
(IICRC) held its semi-annual Board of Directors meeting earlier this month in Las Vegas. At the event,
the Board of Directors elected the 2010-2011 Executive Committee. Paul Pearce,
former IICRC president and the current chairman, was re-elected to serve
another year.
“I’m
humbled and honored to be elected for another year to serve the organization,”
said Pearce. “It’s a very exciting time for the IICRC with multiple initiatives
on the horizon and I’m very much looking forward to working again with our
outstanding board and Executive Committee as we continue to help drive the
industry forward.”
Other
officers elected include: Darrell Paulson, Vice President; Mike Reed, Vice
President; Rosemary Schooley, Secretary; Ed Hobbs Treasurer; David Jones,
International Vice President; and, Barry Costa, Certification Council Chair.
Dan Mabesoone, owner of Master Care Corporation in Norwich, Conn.,
was elected to serve as a member at large for the Board of Directors, along
with current at large directors Dr. Al Luedtke, Cindy (Sayre) Boland, Patrick
Moffitt, Barry Costa and David Jones. Additionally, the current 12 directors
were re-elected to their positions.
In addition
to electing new officers, the Board of Directors also reviewed the proposed
strategic plan for the IICRC and approved a plan for the organization moving
forward.
“The plan
will serve as an overarching guide that will help lead us to where we want to
be ... The plan outlines goals for various functions of the IICRC that we will
continually return to as new efforts are launched to make sure we are on the
right path,” said Pearce.
The next
IICRC Board of Directors and Certification Council meetings are scheduled for
April 11-13, 2011, in Clearwater, Fla. prior to the Connections Conference.
