PAM Fastening expands sales team in response to record growth

PAM Fastening Technology recently announced the addition of two new sales positions within its sales department. The company experienced record sales in 2010 and is expanding its organization to prepare for future growth.
New Director of Sales Matt Minchew joins PAM Fastening in a strategic role overseeing North American sales and a team of regional sales managers. Minchew joins PAM after working as commercial sales manager for SunEdison, the largest solar energy developer in North America. While at the Beltsville, Md.-based company, Minchew managed relationships with a number of Fortune 500 companies including Toyota, Lowe’s, Lockheed Martin, Marriott and Tyco Electronics.
Prior to working at SunEdison, Minchew was a regional sales manager for PAM Fastening where he consistently increased sales over a five-year period. Minchew has an MBA from the University of Maryland and a B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
New Marketing Manager for Hot Melt Systems William Strother will concentrate his efforts on relationship cultivation and sales for PAM’s growing adhesives market. This position has been created in response to the growing commercial market applications for PAM’s rapidly growing PAMTite adhesive, the company said.
Strother has a wealth of sales experience within the chemical products category, including North American marketing manager at the Clariant Corporation, an international chemical company with more than $6 billion in annual sales. Strother holds a B.A. from Oakland University.
