Q.E.P. Co., Inc., a supplier of QEP®, Roberts®, Capitol® and Harris®-branded products, has completed the acquisition of Porta-Nails, Inc.

Porta-Nails, Inc., originally founded in 1979 as Porta Tools, is a manufacturer and supplier of hardwood floor fastening tools, private label specialty tools and specialty nails and cleats for the hardwood flooring industry for markets worldwide under the Porta-Nailer®, Hammerhead® and Portamatic® brands.

Jamie Clingan, senior vp of sales and marketing, said, “This acquisition is a natural add-on to our existing business. It is a key component of our strategy to move towards a “full line supplier” to the flooring industry.”
