VERONA, VA –Personna, the world’s
leading manufacturer of professional, medical, and industrial blades,
continues to implement its growth
strategy following a year of change thanks to recent capital infusions from its
parent company.
Last
year, Personna introduced 15 new carpet tools.
The company then ushered in 2012 at the Surfaces floor covering show in
Las Vegas, Nevada, by previewing a new line of coated blades, along with the
news it was launching a new website, www.personnablades.com.
“The past year generated several
exciting opportunities. We are making the largest investment in Personna’s history
to deliver the next generation of quality, innovative products that set the
industry standard for sharpness and durability,” said Bob Senesac, Vice President,
Marketing Industrial/Professional Division.
Innovations such as Personna’s new
blades – the most durable ever – and several bladed tools are creating a lot of
industry buzz. The improved blade
technology is also being implemented across many of the company’s product
lines.
“Our new blades are generating a lot of interest because they
are at least 50% more durable and sharper than any blade we’ve ever made. Customers who have had a sneak preview are
excited to see how these blades can improve their precision and productivity. With an uninterrupted supply chain and
readily available products, we’re ready to help them get better results than ever before,” Senesac
continued.
According to
company officials, 2012 and 2013 will bring more innovation
with the help of industry experts who will serve as technical advisors and
provide input in the research and design of Personna’s tool and blade products across all
categories.
“We’re looking to move the needle in terms of
innovation, blade improvements and new areas of expansion. We already make the
best blades for glass processing, carpet, drywall, roofing, food processing,
medical and material processing. Our
goal is continuous product improvement across our entire business,” Senesac said.
