The Maryland and Northern Virginia Floor Covering Association (MDNVAFCA) is urging its members to help amend the 2009 Work Place Fraud Act, which continues to affect its membership along with all floor covering dealers located or doing business in Maryland, the organization said.
The MDNVAFCA urges installers to contact your delegate and let them know their feelings on this law. They ask that you tell every dealer you know about the Work Place Fraud Act and ask them to share with every dealer they know.

The next meeting concerning the Work Place Fraud Act will be held Jan. 18 at Towson University Union, Towson 21252 (free parking), West Village Commons, Towson, MD. Registration begins at 7:45am; meeting will be held 8:00am - 11:30am.
Attendees will have the opportunity to network with industry leaders and policy makers, as well as the ability to provide input on Maryland’s procedures and programs aimed at protecting your business and your employees.
