Välinge has entered into a global non-exclusive license agreement with the Chinese company Jilin Limeijian Wooden Product Co., Ltd. for the use of the 5G-C system on the short sides of their engineered wood flooring.

Jilin Limeijian Wooden Product Co., Ltd. is a manufacturer of engineered wood flooring, located in Baishan City in northeast China. The company have been producing flooring with a mechanical locking system since 2008.

Välinge's 5G fold down systems utilize a flexible and displaceable glass fiber reinforced tongue. More than 50 Välinge licensees have introduced the 5G technology since the technology was commercialized in 2005.
