After expanding into the full state of Connecticut and then a year ago adding a Hospitality Division, Larry Lane, President of Lane Sales along with Mark Levy, company partner, V.P. and Controller have now announced that they have expanded their coverage area to include Southern New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Delaware.

Lane Sales now covers five states: CT, NY, NJ, PA, and DE; adding on coverage for this area and adding on an additional representative covering Central New Jersey. This gives Lane Sales three (3) representatives covering New Jersey. Lane now has six (6) people in their immediate dealer focused commercial and residential sales group and five (5) people in their hospitality division.

Lane explained, “Over the past 18 months we have actually reduced the number of mill partners we represent. We are putting greater focus on key partners that are serious about growth and most importantly have the resources to give the field and customers the support, tools and product that fit today’s market place. We find there is business to be had; the key is having the right mill partners to represent in order to be able to get that business. It has taken us a decade to put together the right key mills.” Lane Sales will be in business 10 years as of this August 2012.

Lane Sales biggest sales year was 2008, the year the recession hit. Lane claims they did not feel the recession until 2009. It has taken them three years to build back, finishing out 2011 with their largest sales year ever, surpassing there last all time high from 2008.
