Bamboo Hardwoods recently announced that it has entered into a distribution agreement with T&L Distributing. This agreement expands Bamboo Hardwoods’ existing distribution network, especially throughout the south central part of the United States, while offering a trusted name brand of bamboo flooring and coordinating accessories to T&L’s respective network of over two thousand flooring dealers.
With the determination to succeed, T&L outlived many of their industry competitors and founder Bob Thomas attributes this to a corporate emphasis on “integrity in customer service, and building relationships with clients that stand the test of time.”
“T&L is one of the largest and well-respected flooring distributors in North America so we are very excited to expand our footprint with a distribution partner of this caliber,” said David Keegan, Chief Operating Officer of Bamboo Hardwoods, Inc. “T&L is known for their emphasis on integrity in customer service and building relationships with clients that stand the test of time, which is also a mantra of Bamboo Hardwoods, so this is an ideal fit for both companies.”
Under the agreement, Houston-based T&L Distributing, now provides Bamboo Hardwoods’ entire product flooring line including: transitions, engineered and solid bamboo flooring options towards their dealer base. “The pulse of our marketplace is demanding we provide top-quality bamboo flooring…and Bamboo Hardwoods fits that bill perfectly,” explains Jeff Thomas, President of T&L Distributing. “We’ve lost sales due to not offering a branded line of bamboo flooring, so our dealers are quite pleased to now having a high-quality bamboo flooring option from a manufacturer with a long history of product performance along with a rich company pedigree within the industry.”
Offering 100 percent, rapidly-renewable and FSC-certified bamboo, Bamboo Hardwoods’ products are well-respected with designers, architects and homeowners who prefer using environmentally-benign products that are both elegant and long lasting. Known for quality bamboo products for over a decade, Bamboo Hardwoods’ offers a vast selection of colors and styles, with a large assortment of matching accessories and transition pieces to complement a wide array of residential and commercial décor styles – including engineered flooring featuring strand-woven construction – where strips of bamboo are coated with resin, and then compressed under one hundred thousand tons pressure producing a very dense floor that is least-likely to dent, measuring over 3,000 on the Janka Hardness Scale.
“When considering both their vast product line, overall standard of excellence and company history, Bamboo Hardwoods was our hands-down choice,” said Thomas. “We especially needed product and technical expertise alongside beautiful, top-quality bamboo products to meet our customer’s applications demands – and Bamboo Hardwoods delivered that. Our dealers are very excited to now offer a trusted name brand of bamboo flooring towards their commercial and residential customer base.”
