Halex Corporation of Pomona, California announced recently the acquisition of APL Group LLC / Arnold Precision LLC Corporation of Bensalem, PA.  This purchase includes the APL Bensalem operation, and APL Brands of flooring underlayment, carpet tack strip, carpet seam tape, and fastener product lines.

This acquisition will immediately give Halex a manufacturing and distribution base in the Northeast U.S.  Halex management plans to expand the Bensalem operation to carry all of the major floor installation brands under the Halex banner – Orcon, Capitol, Accuply, Roberts, SureGrip, and VersaShield. This facility adds to Halex’s current network of manufacturing and distribution sites in California, Georgia and China.
