U.S. Products Begins Facebook Series on Value of Wall-to-Wall Carpeting
The series has been put together by Doyle Bloss, marketing head for U.S. Products and HydraMaster, who has been involved with the professional cleaning industry most of his adult life.
"Carpeting plays a much more valuable role in our homes and offices than many of us realize," says Bloss. "After all, have you ever tried to 'curl up' in front of the fireplace on a hard-surface floor?"
The fact that carpet just feels better is actually "Benefit 4" in the 10-part series.
Along with being able to comfortably curl up on a carpeted floor before a roaring fireplace, Bloss adds that "carpet feels so good. It's soft, it's easier on the feet, and it provides a 'softer feel' to the whole indoor environment."
Other benefits now posted on the company's Facebook site include the following:
- Benefit 3: Insulation. Carpeting can help save energy.
- Benefit 2: Style. Carpeting can help a room "make a statement."
- Benefit 1: Appearance. With a variety of colors, patterns, and pile heights, carpeting can create any type of image in homes and businesses.
Additional benefits are being posted on the Facebook site with more planned before the Connections Tradeshow for the carpet cleaning industry begins April 18, 2013.
"Wall-to-wall carpeting has so many benefits-from increasing walker safety and noise reduction to actually making people feel better-that a 10-part series just doesn't do it justice," says Bloss.
"It would be a cold, hard, noisy world without wall-to-wall carpeting."
