Sean Smith has joined ProSpec as director of strategic growth and will be responsible for the marketing, product management and current sales teams while focusing on ProSpec brand growth through business expansion and strategic partnerships, at both a regional and a national level.

Smith will be working with his third Oldcastle company, having served as national sales development manager with Oldcastle APG and national sales manager for Allied Building products. Prior to joining Oldcastle, Smith served as the vice president of sales and marketing for Stock Building Supply.
In his new role, Smith will report to and work closely with ProSpec COO Paul Henning, who took over as COO in 2013 to continue the long-term strategic growth of the business.

Smith joins ProSpec after leading the team through an eight-month Oldcastle Strategic Growth Initiative for high growth potential businesses. “Over the last eight months I have been engaged with ProSpec to assist in defining a clear-cut strategic direction for the future and am honored to lead the effort moving forward, joining an experienced and fantastic team,” said Smith.
