Dimension RapidCureBostik's new Dimension RapidCure Glass-Filled, Pre-Mixed, Urethane Grout is a patented, reflective, water-based, urethane grout, containing micro-glass beads and a translucent, urethane binder that both reflect light and allow it to pass through. According to the company, this adds an illuminating sparkle, creating one-of-a-kind, 3-D effects within glass tile installations.

According to Scott Johnson, marketing manager of Voguebay, a supplier of glass mosaics, "with Bostik's Dimension RapidCure, now grout can be a fashionable product, too. Beautiful, 3-D tiles no longer have to be surrounded by boring white grout lines. Because this product is glass-filled, you see more of the tile and less of the grout. This makes a glass tile installation even more attractive."

Dimension RapidCure offers lifetime stain and superior crack resistance, according to Bostik. Created with urethane sealer technology,it contains Bostik’s Blockade antimicrobial protection which inhibits growth of bacteria, mold and mildew on the cured grout surface.

"Dimension RapidCure used together with Bostik Glass-Mate glass tile mortar, offers today's most complete system for glass tile installation. Engineered to mitigate thermal expansion and contraction inherent to glass tile, this results in significantly less tile or grout cracking due to severe temperature fluctuations," stated Scott Banda, director of marketing for Bostik’s Consumer and Construction Business Unit.

"Dimension RapidCure is being specified by architects and designers seeking U.S. Green Building Council LEED certification for their projects. It contains 60% pre-consumer recycled glass, and is manufactured within the LEED-approved radius of 500 miles or less from a great percentage of the US population, further adding to the LEED scorecard," adds Banda.

Available in nine-pound and 18-pound pails,  colors include: Amber, Aquamarine, Aventurine, Bronze, Citrine, Copper, Diamond, Hematite, Jade, Moonstone, Onyx, Opal, Palm Wood, Silver and Topaz.
