Schluter Systems announces the Schluter-Schiene-Step-EB, a multifunctional brushed stainless steel profile that comes in three leg lengths for three applications: staircases, tile-on-tile and countertops.

For staircases, the 30 mm visible surface is ideal for areas exposed to high levels of traffic. The stair-nosing profile also improves safety on tiled stairways by providing a slip-resistant surface and increasing visibility in residential and commercial applications. Matching stainless steel end caps/outside corners and connectors are also available. In tile-on-tile applications, Schiene-Step-EB profiles have been designed to protect the edges of both the existing tile and the new tile. For countertops, the profile can be paired with virtually any tile for endless design opportunities, the company said.
