Schluter-Systems has doubled the number of cable lengths available for its Ditra-Heat floor warming system.

 

According to the company, the Ditra-Heat system is unique because the heating cables are easily snapped into place on top of the uncoupling mat with no clips or fasteners. The installer has complete flexibility on where the cables are placed, so every installation is customized to suit the exact requirements of the owner.

 

The system launched just over one year ago with 17 different cable lengths to accommodate a range of project sizes. Now 34 cable lengths are available to choose from, including 17 for 120-volt circuits and 17 for 240-volt circuits. The new lengths include cables that can be used in a space as small as 10.7 sq. ft. so the floor of a small bathroom, powder room or entryway can be easily warmed with the system.
