NAC Products, Inc., released their 2016 calendar, “Classic Vehicles from the Flooring Industry,” at the Total Solutions Plus event in Savannah, Ga.
The calendar recognizes people in the flooring industry who own a classic vehicle and are interested in having it showcased. The initial calendar was created to help promote NAC’s 30th anniversary in 2013, but due to the overwhelmingly positive response, the calendar has become an annual tradition.
“There are a lot of people in the flooring industry that own and enjoy classic vehicles, and each year we have received more interest from people wanting to participate,” said Brian Petit, vice president of operations. “But it’s about more than the vehicle, it’s about the family bond that was created, the new traditions that were established, the experiences and stories that surround each vehicle that create lasting memories and we’re happy to be a small part of that narrative.”
The 2016 edition filled up quickly and necessitated the creation of a waiting list to get vehicles included in the 13 month publication. One of the design highlights includes the use of actual state license plate images representing the year of the car or a plate that was popular at the time or resembles how the car is currently tagged. A few anecdotes about the car and the restoration populate the plate image.
The calendar also highlights a different NAC product offering each month and includes the dates of many industry related tradeshows, like the International Surface Event, NAHB/KBIS and Coverings just to name a few.
“This year we have a Bi-plane that was completely built from scratch and a custom Harley-Davidson motorcycle among a variety of classic cars,” said Petit. “It’s a great opportunity to share the passion of classic vehicle owners while keeping the NAC brand visible in the marketplace year round.”
