This holiday season, Ardex Americas employees collected Giving Tree Gifts and distributed them to Children Youth Services (CYS), an organization that provides assistance to children in need, the ALQ Salvation Army’s “Treasures for Children” program and a few local families in need.

Employees also volunteered at Beaver County Humane Society doing light cleaning, or donated items the Humane Society needed. Others volunteered for the Habitat for Humanity ReStore program stocking shelves and performing other light duties.

Because of the large geographical footprint of Ardex, employees could volunteer for an organization of personal preference and Ardex paid for up to four hours of the employee’s time.

Ardex also supports communities throughout the year through the Adopt-a-Highway project, Veterans’ breakfast and Habitat for Humanity.

According to the company, Ardex believes the combination of all the efforts can have an enormous impact on local communities during the holiday season and year-round, especially for those who may be experiencing difficult times.
