The Flooring Contractors Association (FCICA) will host the inaugural Successors event March 5 at the Hammock Beach Resort in Palm Coast, Fla., which will kick off the Commercial Flooring Tradeshow and FCICA’s 34th Annual Convention.

The Successors group is FCICA’s newest program for like-minded flooring professionals, 40 and under, looking to grow through education and involvement. According to the association, the Successors are focused on growing their own professional network and knowledge with the underlying passion of getting new talent into the commercial flooring industry.

FCICA is also providing flooring professionals 40 and under with an opportunity to participate in the Commercial Flooring Tradeshow and FCICA’s 34th Annual Convention at a discounted rate of $345, a savings of $350.

“It is important to our association that we engage young professionals by introducing them to the power of participating in an organization such as FCICA, as well as providing networking and educational opportunities that can further their professional growth,” said Sarah Bays, FCICA's membership and website coordinator.

In addition to the discounted attendee rate, registered Successors are invited to a happy hour networking event on March 5 at 6 p.m.
