Powernail has announced the industry’s first pneumatic, trigger-operated 20-gauge cleat nailer, which is designed to install 5/16” to 9/16” tongue-and-groove flooring. According to the company, the Model 2000F offers more consistent control of fastener placement and provides the perfect insertion angle.
The new Model 2000F features a compact design for installation close to walls and tight spaces. The adjustable Flex foot allows for easy setup to a variety of flooring thicknesses, while the unique nose design fits a wide selection of flooring profiles including interlocking planks.
The 2000F is engineered for comfort and safety with dual trigger activation. The non-slip rubber grip and extended firing trigger provide a secure feel and reduces hand fatigue during use.
The new 20 gauge HD PowerCleats ensure less split-out on the thinnest flooring. With the newly designed HD Head and barb enhancement, the HD PowerCleats drive easier and more consistent in dense core products. The well-formed barbs on each side of the nail provide the ultimate holding power, the company said.
